James Shieh

James Shieh, a native of Chicago, is a published and award winning designer with over 20 years of experience.
A graduate of University of Texas School of Architecture, he was a commercial designer for several design firms where he completed recreational, ecclesiastic, public, and retail projects.

James has also helped design some of the most exquisite estate home in Austin and developed relationships with the premier tier of contractors in central Texas.  With his talent of refined design and intricate details, he has designed in various price points from sub-market to thousands of dollars per square foot.  James has the versatility of “out-of-the-box” thinking to offer the best options to all our clients.

In addition to a personal history in real estate investments, James has served as a City of Austin Commissioner on multiple commissions. He was Vice Secretary of the Zoning and Platting Commission, Chairman of the Design Commission, and currently serving on the City’s Planning Commission for the Mayor. For the community, he is currently serving as the Chairman for the Asian American Resource Center Nonprofit.

James is also a budding actor and has performed at local theaters, including The Zach, and appeared on various commercials as well.
